Cornerstone Landing is activley engaged in building community awareness locally and nationally about rural youth homelessness.  Board Members are available to speak at public events and make presentations to Local, Provincial and National organizations and conferences.

December 14th, 2017 - Cornerstone Landing Board Chair was on Lake 88.1 with Bob Perreault providing an update on the work of Cornerstone Landing. 

December 11th, 2017 - Cornerstone Landing Board Chair made a presentation to the Smiths Falls town council.

December 7-8th, 2017 - Cornerstone Landing Board Chair was in St. John's Newfoundland participating in panel and round table discussions on rural youth homelessnes. 

December 5th, 2017 - Cornerstone Landing Past Chair was invited to Gald Tidings Pentecostal Church for a dinner and donation to Cornerstone Landing from the BG Kids group. 

November 17th, 2017 - Cornerstone Landing Board Members slept outside all night to raise awareness of youth homelessness.  The event was called One Cold Night, organized by local resident and business owner Lea Maurice in Carleton Place, in support of the work of Cornerstone Landing Youth Services. 

November 9th, 2017 - Cornerstone Landing Board Chair Terrilee Kelford was on Lake 88 radio with community member Lea Maurice and host Bob Perreault to discuss the event One Cold Night hosted by Lea.

October 24th - 28th - Cornerstone Landing Board Chair attends the 5th National Conference on Ending Homelessness hosted by the CAEH.  Chair, Terrilee Kelford spoke on a panel about data collection strategies and assessment tools.   

October 17th, 2017 - Cornerstone Landing Board Chair attends Housing on the Hill Day to meet and hear from National leaders and politicians in anticipation of the Federal Housing Strategy.

October 14th, 2017 - Cornerstone Landing Board Members conduct a Road Toll as a fundraiser in Smiths Falls.

September 26th - 28th, 2017 - Cornerstone Landing Board Chair travels to Denver, Colorado with other local agencies to participate in a working group hosted by CAEH for the BNL.

September 20th - 23rd, 2017 - Cornerstone Landing Board Chair travels to Barcelona for a FEANSTRA research conference on homelessness.

September 1st, 2017 - Cornerstone Landing held a youth consultation for a National Survey for A Way Home Canada and the Homeless Hub.

August 29th, 2017 - Carleton University Students met Cornerstone Landing Board Chair to discuss rural homelessness as part of a research project.

August 28th, 2017 - Terrilee Kelford, Chair of Cornerstone Landing is on Lake 88 In Focus with Bob Perreault.

August 19th, 2017 - Cornerstone Landing Board Members conducted a Road Toll as a fundraiser for Cornerstone Landing in Perth. 

August 9th, 2017 - Cornerstone Landing Board Chair presented to Lanark County Council.
